At Apex, we will design your website, however, this will require some input from you! After all, no one knows the "ins and outs" of your business like you do.
This means we will need to sit down with you at least once and find out what you would like your website to be. We are good at what we do, but we are not omniscient. This step shouldn't take too long, often we can accomplish it over lunch. This is the most important step however, because here we will determine the layout of the site. Once we agree on the design layout, it cannot be changed without an additional fee. (Basically, this means that once you decide what you want and we start working, it's not fair to completely change your mind.)
After this first step, we will design the layout on our temporary server according to your specifications, keeping you updated along the way. At this point, small changes to the layout are permitted. Without being exhaustive, things like font size, color, background images, and the like are examples of changes we will be happy to make.
Once the layout is complete, content will be added. When the content pages are complete, we will submit the site for your approval. (This is the home stretch!)
When we complete the content, the next to last step is a "punch list" from you. At this point, you check the website for typos, incorrect spellings, improper links and the like. The punch list is your final opportunity to make changes to the website. We will fix everything on the punch list and send you an invoice.
When the invoice is paid, we will move the site from our temporary server to wherever you would like. If you are hosting with us, this process will not take more than a few minutes.
After that, sit back and enjoy your website!
